SYHA join forces
Scottish YHA and ukmountainbiker.com join forces to promote new site
The Scottish Youth Hostel Association (SYHA), with their network of over 60 hostels – including purpose-built premises, historic buildings and country cottages, across Scotland – has teamed up with ukmountainbiker.com to provide an exciting platform for cross-marketing products and services.
The SYHA’s hostels will now be listed under the Accommodation section on the new website and are also incorporated into the downloadable routes section. Together with information including parking, cafés, bike shops, Trail Centres and Tourist Information Centres, ukmountainbiker.com’s maps have now incorporated SYHA ‘flags’ that show the nearest hostel on each and every route.
On the SYHA’s website ukmountainbiker.com will be featured in various sections and all members of the SYHA will be able to get a 20% reduction off the price of route downloads – £12.00 for 24 rides (usual price £15.00).
Commenting on the deal, Adrian Daniel a director of ukmountainbiker.com said: “As well as working with the YHA in England and Wales, we’re equally delighted to be now working with the SYHA; we feel that we will be able to cross-market our respective services. With the SYHA having over 60 hostels in Scotland, which are integrated into our site, our users will have another option for extremely cost effective accommodation in fantastic mountainbiking country.”
